PERFORMANCE OF THE CAR 

VOLVO XC40 IS A COMPACT SUV. The car is loaded with most number of features in its segment , you name the feature and it gets it . The braking performance of the car is superb all thanks to 4 disc brakes offered by Volvo. The steering is light on low speeds and weighs up at the speedo meter climbs up. Overall the car is easy to drive in city traffic. The suspension setup is a bit stiff but it keeps the car composed on most of the time till you smash your car in a deep pothole. Body role is offered by the car because of its massive weight around the corners. Talking about the engine, it is punchy in beginning but in the top end it lacks in power. The engine gets noisy once it cross 3500 rpm. The engine can go all up to 6500 rpm. Top speed of car is 180kmph. The gearbox is a bit slow to respond and the jerkiness can be felt while driving it. Overall concluding the performance of car, It is not as enthusiastic as other Volvo cars but feels very premium indeed and offers so many features that you can play along them all day long!
