WHAT IS LANE KEEPING ASSIST?

Lane keeping assist is a new safety technology in car which avoid a lot of accidents by correcting the steering if the car is going out of its lane unintentionally or due to the carelessness of driver resulting to avoid a lot of collision which are caused due to sudden and careless lane changing action on road.

HOW DOES LANE KEEP ASSIST WORKS?

1. VIBRATES THE STEERING WHEEL:

Whenever you tend to make any lane change the steering vibrates and alerts you if you are making the lane change without looking on left and right rare view mirror . 

2. SHOW ALERT LIGHTS ON SPEEDOMETER 

While changing the lane there are hazard lights which beep and light up whenever you are making a lane change. It beeps loudly or in a different way if the car identifies that there are any cars which are coming near while changing the lane to avoid collision. This sensation are achieved by the car through various side rare view mirror camera and other body sensors which sense object around it. 

3. BY PUSHING YOU BACK IN THE LANE :

If you are making a lane change that can cause accident or collision with other object the steering pulls you back in your lane by sensing vehicles and other object around you because of camera and sensors. 

There is also a camera placed on windshield that observe the white road marks and always pulls you back in if the car is going left or right without you really wanting it.

CAN YOU DISABLE LANE KEEP ASSIST IN YOUR CAR WHEN YOU DO NOT WANT IT?

Yes! you can disable this feature manually or by voice command whenever you do not want to use it .
