HYBRID CARS AND THEIR WORKING

         FUNCTIONING OF HYBRID CARS

BASICS OF A HYBRID CAR

A hybrid car is car which functions on 1 or more type of fuel which can be solar, electric, or any other liquid. Also the car has an electric motor and a powered engine which works either together or one by one at a particular point of time

TYPES OF HYBRID CARS

1.SERIES HYBRID  In series hybrid the engine is connected to generator further the generator is connected to controller and that controller is connected to battery. Further the battery is connected to motor which is aliened with rare axel of car .

FUNCTIONING : As the car starts running the generator charges battery and then the battery gives power to motor to rotate wheels during this time the engine is turned off and the fuel is saved . Again when the battery power is finished the engine again charges battery by running car and the process continue this saves a lot of fuel

2. PARALLEL HYBRID
in parallel hybrid the car is connected to a electric transmission which is connected to axels and generator. further the generator is connected to controller and further to battery

FUNCTION: In all engine mode the transmission rotate axel and also charges engine with the help of generator. In all battery mode the transmission is powered by battery and as the battery gets drained the engine again charges battery and also move car

3. SERIES PARALLEL HYBRID
In series parallel hybrid system the engine is connected to power distributer , the power distributer is connected to Axel, motor and generator, The generator and motor are connected to controller further connected to battery

FUNCTION. In all engine mode the engine rotates axel as well as charges battery. once battery gets fully charged the axel is rotated by the power given by battery. It also has a engine assist function which adjusts and modifies that the axel will rotate on fuel or battery depending on the amount of fuel and power in battery. In full power mode the engine can work on battery and fuel together.

4. PLUG IN HYBRID

In plug in hybrid all the categories mentioned above comes with an additional charge point to charge the battery due to this you can convert the car all electric or fuel car depending on your convenience

WHY SHOULD YOU BUY AN HYBRID CAR IN INDIA  ?
In India  electric cars have yet not entered the market also we not have many power stations to charge cars so we can buy hybrid cars that work on both fuel and battery to save fuel and money . This can be a small step by everyone to preserve environment

SOME HYBRID CARS : Toyota Camry, Maruti Baleno, Maruti Ciaz, BMW i8 etc.
